RW ax Liquid Chiller

These liquid chillers combine efficiency and performance control with brushless axial fans: they are chillers suitable for achieving average fluid outlet temperatures while optimizing energy use. In standard execution, ambient temperatures up to +40°C are allowed, but set-ups for even higher ambient temperatures can be requested.

RW ax LT Liquid Chiller

Low outlet fluid temperatures (water or water and glycol, down to -8°C) characterize RW ax LT liquid chillers: air condensation ensures that they use are electrical energy, and not water, for their operation: a resource that is then optimized by the electronically controlled “brushless” type axial fans. Up to +40°C ambient temperature allowed in standard execution.

RW / EFC ax Liquid Chiller

The secret of this system is the combination of the refrigeration section and the free-cooling section depending on the time of day and year: the first mode allowed by these liquid chillers takes advantage of the normal operation of a refrigeration circuit, the second allows cold outside air to be directly conveyed to the fluid to be cooled: maximum efficiency, minimum energy use due to the clear separation between the two sections.

ERW ax Liquid Chillers

These liquid chillers are also suitable for working outdoors and in very high outside temperatures. Depending on the agreed design features, fluid outlet temperatures from -12°C to +30°C can be achieved: adaptability and reliability for all industrial plants.

Air-cooled chillers Frigofluid

They are air-cooled chillers for process fluids (water, water/antifreeze) whose process fluid temperature ranges from -12°C to +30°C.

Frigofluid’s offer for this type of chiller also includes a solution with built-in free-cooling. for energy savings (RW EFC ax) and a choice of machines that operate at even very high ambient temperatures (ERW series). Services and advice available before, during and after installation complete the offer.

In standard execution, ambient temperatures of up to +40°C are permissible, in ERW versions ambient temperatures of up to +52°C are achievable. Special fittings are available on specific request.

Focus: chiller with 'Free-cooling' Monobloc integrated

These are process fluid chillers (water/antifreeze) designed for high energy savings.

They are manufactured in monobloc units integrating chiller technology with dry cooler technology. RW / EFC series units automatically manage and combine three cooling modes:

  • RW central cooling with air condensation, which allows the set temperature to be maintained, even with ambient air temperatures higher than those of the process fluid, thanks to the work of the compressors.
  • RW / EFC cooling by combined effect of chiller section and free-cooling section.
  • EFC liquid cooling by driving only the fans of the EFC section, with very low electricity consumption.

The suggested process fluid temperature values for this technology are between +10°C and +25°C. In standard execution, ambient temperatures of up to +40°C are permitted.
