F-Gas Control for your Chiller

If you want to inspect your chiller, and check for leaks, you should contact a certified company: we are at your disposal for inspection and maintenance of chillers, Frigofluid and non-Frigofluid, operating with fluorinated gases.

What are fluorinated gases

Fluorinated gases are a class of man-made gases, commonly classified into five categories:

  • chlorofluorocarbons,
  • hydrochlorofluorocarbons,
  • hydrofluorocarbons,
  • perfluorocarbons,
  • sulphur hexafluoride.

F-Gases are mainly used in refrigeration systems. Periodically, it is therefore a good idea to inspect your chiller for leaks and maintain the system if necessary. To do this, it is necessary to contact an F-Gas certified company, with maintenance personnel with a regular licence (according to current regulations).

F-Gas certification of Frigofluid with Apave

Frigofluid is F-Gas certified company

For the control and maintenance of chillers operating with fluorinated gases, you can ask Frigofluid, certified by Apave, for assistance.

Apave, a body certified by the Italian Accreditation Body Accredia, has already issued in France alone more than 14,000 certificates of capacity for the use of fluorinated gases (see relevant link). The employees’ certificate is valid for 10 years and must be maintained every year.
